1) What exactly is a ceramic coating?
A ceramic coating is a liquid chemical applied by hand to your vehicle's paint. Once installed, the ceramic coating hardens and chemically bonds to the paint surface, forming a semi-permanent barrier that offers premium auto care for your vehicle.
In addition to its remarkable durability, ceramic coatings significantly enhance the gloss and shine of your vehicle's paint. They also deepen and enrich the color—blacks appear even darker, reds become more vibrant, and this effect extends to colored or satin wheels as well.
While it won’t turn matte or satin wheels glossy, it will add a richening and darkening effect.
Recognizing that not every customer has the same goals when it comes to vehicle detailing and applying a ceramic coating, we have developed various packages tailored to meet your individual needs and how you use your vehicle.
My options for a ceramic coating include a 1-year coating, a 3-year coating, and a 5-year coating.

2) What do you mean when you say preservation over perfection when it comes to paint correction?
When it comes to paint correction and removing scratches, it’s a philosophy that I frequently emphasize in my premium auto care services. Your vehicle’s factory clear coat is a limited resource, and with each machine polishing, a small amount of that protective layer is removed to minimize paint imperfections. I believe any polishing decision should balance short-term appearance with the long-term preservation in mind for your paint.
This is why I don’t chase every minor scratch at any cost. Instead, I focus on delivering a dramatic improvement while ensuring the long-term integrity of your vehicle's finish. Another saying you’ll often hear from me is, “You can’t preserve what you don’t protect.”
That's why I highly recommend applying a quality ceramic coating after any paint correction or vehicle detailing service. The goal is not only to make your vehicle look incredible today but to keep it looking fantastic for years to come!

3) Are your services by appointment only? How much lead time is there in requesting an appointment?
Yes, you will need to have an appointment for our premium auto care services.
While it would be great to accommodate same day or next day requests, it is quite rare. Depending on the time of year, you can expect a minimum of 5 to 6 days and up to a maximum of 3 weeks for a vehicle detailing appointment, particularly if you are looking for services like ceramic coating.
On average, it runs about 10 to 14 days from your approval of the estimate.
Once you approve the estimate for your ceramic coating or other detailing services, you will receive a scheduling email with a list of available dates to choose from for your appointment.
4) What can I expect after I set up my appointment with you?
You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your appointment and verify your information for our premium auto care services. Additionally, you'll get a check-in reminder text message 24 to 48 hours before your appointment, which includes details to help you prepare for your vehicle detailing. If you need to drop off your vehicle outside our regular shop hours, we offer an after-hours key drop for your convenience.
We will keep you updated on the progress of your detail package, including ceramic coating, and you will receive a text message letting you know the exact time your vehicle will be ready for pick up.
5) How long do you need my vehicle for a ceramic coating?
For most of our ceramic coating packages, it will require that we keep your vehicle for a minimum of 36 to 48 hours for proper install and curing time.
6) What is a clay bar treatment and why is it important to decontaminate my vehicle’s paint?
This highlights one of the biggest differences between taking your vehicle to the car wash and opting for a professional vehicle detail. A key aspect of this process includes using an iron remover chemical to decontaminate your paint surface, followed by a clay bar treatment.
Have you ever noticed when your vehicle's paint feels bumpy and rough to the touch?
That's where a clay bar treatment comes into play as a crucial tool for eliminating those contaminants.
Over time, industrial fallout, brake dust, tar, bird droppings, and other contaminants bond to your vehicle's painted surface. To effectively remove these contaminants, a clay lube is sprayed on the surface, and a clay bar is gently rubbed over the paint, lifting all these bonded impurities.
After completing the claying process, we machine polish the entire vehicle before applying ceramic coating or paint protection. Depending on your driving habits, a clay bar treatment should be performed approximately once a year to maintain your vehicle's finish.
7) Is it really that important to have my car protected?
The purpose of any paint protection, such as applying wax, paint sealant, or a premium ceramic coating, is to safeguard your vehicle's paint, specifically the clear coat. Modern vehicles are equipped with a layer of clear coat designed to protect the base color paint; however, this layer is only about the same thickness as a post-it note! In fact, manufacturers are increasingly applying less paint to new vehicles, making protective measures even more crucial.
If you intend to keep your vehicle for an extended period, it is essential to protect the clear coat, which can deteriorate due to the sun's UV rays, leading to oxidation and clear coat failure.
While a simple wax product will provide protection for 2-3 months, requiring frequent reapplication, investing in a premium ceramic coating for your vehicle will last for years rather than months and will significantly ease the washing and vehicle detailing process.
8) I like to take my car to the drive thru tunnel car wash & I have a subscription pass. is that OK?
Things to consider when choosing how to wash your vehicle.
Brush tunnel washes offer convenience, but the same brushes clean hundreds of vehicles daily. The dirt that gets trapped in these brushes can leave behind swirl marks and scratches, not to mention the risk of other potential damages to your vehicle's finish. Touchless washes eliminate brushes, but they depend on harsher chemicals that can shorten the lifespan of any paint protection, like waxes, sealants, and even ceramic coatings, if used too frequently.
Hand washing remains the safest method to maintain your vehicle’s finish, especially when utilizing premium auto care products, clean microfiber towels, and a touch of extra care. This attention to detail makes a significant difference over time!
